I am just the luckiest mom in the world to have him. He brings me untold amounts of joy every single day. And the last few months, homeschooling him, being able to sit uninterrupted each morning for several hours sharing thoughts and learning together, what an unspeakable blessing. He is smart, witty, sensitive, thoughtful, grateful, a little mouthy at times. I remember his grand entrance into this world, my firstborn, all my naive thoughts and hopes and promises to myself and to him. I am not the perfect mother. But he, he is pretty much the perfect kid.
