Nearing the end

So, 32 weeks pregnant today. Moving right along. And man, am I tired. All day long. All night long. Every time I sit down, I try to go to sleep. I am TIRED. I feel like I could sleep for days, and I probably could. But, that's really my only complaint right now. I am not swollen, shockingly. I am not achy, until late at night. I am only minimally grouchy (I think even Keith would agree). So, if tired is my main complaint, I will take it.

One thing that is different about this pregnancy is the movements of this little one. He moves all the time. Naturally, he has off days, where he stays pretty quiet throughout the entire day and generally makes me nervous and I have to poke him a lot to aggravate him. But on the whole, he is the most active baby I've carried. And not just little bumps and rolls, but actual painful jabs. Crazy little guy! Even though it feels weird, and sometimes painful, I can't get enough of watching him move, watching my belly roll and shift from side to side. What a neat experience.

I'm starting to shift into labor mode, just a little. I'm scared this time, because I won't have my trusty epidural, which has gotten me through the previous two labors. I feel like this is something my body can do, and knows how to do, but I am still nervous that I'm going to freak out or lose my mind halfway through. Overly concerned, probably, but still concerned. Hopefully it will go smoothly. I'm praying that it does. Crossing fingers and toes that I can make it through on sheer determination alone. Because it's coming alright, before we know it. A one more makes six ...

The weather is amazing and we only want to be outside these past few days. What more could we want?

i'm coming up behind you; will be at 31 weeks tomorrow. i guess i missed when you said you'd not go for the epidural? since this is my first, i'm looking into that, seriously. it's so good to hear that other than being tired you're in good health. keep it up, hope things go very well the next 6 weeks.
