Dear Seth,
On Monday, you turned 2 months old. Wow, time surely does fly. You are so close to losing your newborn look and feel, and turning into a real, honest to goodness infant. I am so sad to see you getting bigger! I wish I could keep you here, like this, forever. But time, it marches on, so we roll with it.
At 2 months, you are:
At 2 months, you are:
- smiling and cooing, especially for Mama, Daddy, and Owen
- wearing 3 to 6 month clothing and a size 2 diaper
- sleeping on your back and side, in your own bassinet, in our room
- eating 4 to 5 ounces per pumped bottle, or nursing, 6 to 8 times each day
- going to bed around 10 PM and waking once in the night, then getting up for the day around 8 AM - although you do sometimes sleep through the night (yay!)
- enjoying your little playmat, smiling and talking to the toys
- not a fan of the swing - intolerable, I tell you!
- going to bed awake, and drifting to sleep on your own
- 14 pounds, 14 ounces and 24 inches long (off the chart on both counts)
- sweet and mellow, and so lovely to look at, with light blue eyes and reddish-golden brown hair
That's you in a nutshell, really, sweet and mellow, although you certainly have your moments of hysteria. I knew having another baby would be tough, and it is, but you make it so, so worth it. I am so glad you are here!
Love,
Mama
