Today's harvest

This was our first big pick of the year, a couple of crooked neck squash, some gorgeous zucchini (that huge one is unbelievable; I haven't seen him before today), and a bowl full of early-ripened blackberries. Most of the berries are still pink, but we were able to get some juicy ones. These grow wild in our back yard, and I battled the thorns and bugs and snaky places to get them. I'm victorious! Bleeding, but victorious. They will last, oh, about 5 minutes around here!
