Stupid Dentist, postscript
Oh, and P.S. - to follow up on my Stupid Dentist post . . . my appointment was at 11 AM on a weekday morning, and my car broke down the night before the appointment. So I had no way to get there (I couldn't even get to work, much less the dentist), and I forgot to call that morning and tell them I wasn't coming. So I pretty much just didn't show up. I guess I gave him the big shove off anyway, not even meaning to - but he deserved it.

Yes, and I can hear the receptionist mutter "stupid patient" as she marks the noshow on the schedule. :)
