We got the official word yesterday that another family has adopted the little girl we’ve been trying to adopt, apparently a family from Belgium. I don’t know how accurate the story is, but I do think she is gone. I’m surprised at how well I am taking the news. I anticipated a breakdown, but I think I’d given up on her already several months ago. The good news is, she is with a family and hopefully having a great life. In her honor, here is a picture of the beautiful girl that would have been our daughter. I'll be taking the picture down shortly, so enjoy for now.
So Eva is still out there waiting for us somewhere. We just have to find her.
