Mobile, kind of.

Yesterday when I arrived at L's house to pick up the boys, guess who walked out to greet me? Ari Kyle. He was holding onto the back of his walker, and he walked right over to me. He was grinning ear to ear, so proud of himself. So when we got home, I dug out Owen's old walking toy (pictured below, Owen at 9 months), and Ari walked himself around our living room. He's a little shaky still, and the wood floors make him go faster than I like, but he's upright! I'm very proud of his new skill!

Today is my tooth extraction at 1PM, then I'm off work tomorrow. The dentist said I'll need a few days to recover. I'm a little nervous. I'm not good with dental types of pain. At least I get a nap, that alone makes the procedure worth it.

So what happened last night on American Idol? Talk about a shocker. I can't for the life of me figure out America's love affair with Scott. He has a criminal record, for crying out loud, for abusing his baby momma. And he doesn't even sing that well! Why, America, are you rallying behind him? Can't we agree to rally around something more deserving, like GAS PRICES FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. If Bo gets voted off, I will have to stop watching. Much like last year, after George got voted off. By the way, speaking of George, which I haven't done in like, a year: Keith saw him last week at the hotel at a big Christian music convention. He wasn't impressed, but I thought it was v. exciting.
(Opinions expressed here about American Idol are solely my own, and do not be offended if you are a Scott fan, which I hope you're not).

Love the pic of Owen's chubby-bubba bottom! You are braver than I, letting him walk around diaper-less!
